Do I miss certain aspects of how things were in the past? Perhaps, and that's what this song pulls on. It's funny though, we want the past but only the parts we want out of it. Wouldn't that be nice, a world with only the best things. Sin and it's consequences, we'll never get that. So the best we can really do is try to make the present as good a place as possible in spite of the difficulties.
This week's my idea, I wanted a somber song. I got ill Sunday and that's what came to mind, pretty fitting to the mood at the time, and so I carried the idea to fruition with this week's song.
