The Mercedes-Benz C-Class is a line of compact executive cars produced by Daimler AG. Introduced in 1993 as a replacement for the 190 (W201) range, the C-Class was the smallest model in the marque's lineup until the arrival of the A-Class in 1997. The C-Class is built at Mercedes-Benz factories in Sindelfingen and Bremen, Germany as well as numerous satellite factories in other countries. The first C-Class (W202) sedan was produced on 1 June 1993, and the first of the second generation (W203) rolled off the assembly line on 18 July 2000. The most recent third generation (W204) was launched in 2007.

The Mercedes-Benz W204 is a compact executive car which was produced by the German automaker Mercedes-Benz from 2007 to 2014, under the C-Class model names. The W204 models replaced the W203 C-Class models and were superseded by the Mercedes-Benz W205 in 2015.

In 2009, Mercedes-AMG introduced Performance Package Plus for C 63 AMG saloon and estate models, which includes increasing power to 487 PS (358 kW; 480 hp)@6800rpm and 600 N·m (443 lb·ft)@5000, compound brake discs on the front axle and red painted brake callipers, composite brake discs connected aluminium bowl via cast-in arms, carbon fibre spoiler lip on the boot lid (saloon), AMG performance steering wheel in nappa leather with a grip area trimmed in Alcantara. The product went on sale in December 2009 for €7080.50 and €6426 for saloon and estate respectively (including 19% VAT). Optional black designo leather, covering the upper section of the dashboard, the upper door trim and the armrest on the centre console, is available in conjunction with nappa leather appointments for €2856 (price includes 19% VAT).
