A new stretch of Multi-Use Bike Path opened up along the SanTan Freeway from Elliot to Hawes. It is my understanding that this path will eventually run along parts of SR-24 (Gateway Freeway). I like to take this path to Hawes and use the underpass to cross under the SanTan Freeway. From there I normally take it to Ray Rd where I go west to Sossaman and south to Queen Creek Rd. Have a taco and beverage at the Creek Side Taco Shack before heading along Queen Creek (the creek not the road) to Desert Mountain Park.
