We will be deeply discussing the brand new Meta Quest 3 VR & AR Headset launching on september the 23rd 2023. There is a new meta connect event where they will be sharing more details including pre orders the the meta quest 3. This video is providing you with all of the infomation about the device to help you make a decision on whether or not you should buy the meta quest 3. The quest 2 already has AR Pass through but its not very good and in black and white. The quest 3 provided Full color passthrough via its Trudepth 3d sensors and camera to give realistic depth perception. Resolution is the next big difference. The quest 2 has a resolution of 1832 x 1920 Per Eye. The quest 3 Says it will have a 30% Better resolution which makes a resolution of 2064 x 2208 per eye. The quest 2 resolution is pretty good already soo an increase will make things even more sharper and I can't wait to review this in a future video. The Quest 2 uses Qualcomm's Snapdragon XR2 Chip for its GPU performance. The Quest 3 will be using a Next Gen version of this chip which they are promising double the Performance to the quest 2. Both devices start at 128gb & You can purchase Higher GB Options. We have seen other headsets offer a lot higher resolutions which give great results. But nothing this high on a stand alone device. That was until Apple unveiled their $3500 Vision Pro. The quest 2 & 3 both have a 2 - 3 hour battery life on stand alone but have accessories you can attach to play for even longer. The controllers on the quest 2 are great, but the quest 3 offers a hoopless experience with a better design and TruTouch Haptic Feedback.
They Just Dropped the price of the Meta quest 2 to 299 & The quest 3 is available for 499. The last comparison is that the quest 3 is 40% Slimmer than the quest 2 due to metas new pancake lenses seen in the Quest pro.

We can make speculations but until we get confirmations on certain things, no one can be sure on things such as the Weight, Refresh rate, Larger storage sizes & More. those are just some of the things we discuss in this video, even comparing it to pico headsets, HTC headsets, apples vision pro, meta quest pro and much more.
