But let's start this video discussing the quest 3 Have Upper Body Tracking.
The quest 3s ability to track the user's entire upper body.
Now this is actually a huge deal.
Everyone knows previous models would only track your headset and the controllers
You would have to buy incredibly expensive and fiddly body tracking to achieve something similar to this.
Well the quest 3 introduced something called IOBT which stand for inside out body tracking
It's the VR industries first HMD Cameras for body tracking
It accurately tracks the upper body which is such a hard thing to achieve from the headset alone
This is an exclusive feature to quest 3 and is not available on quest pro or quest 2.
However all 3 of those devices will get ai estimated legs
Using ai & this upper body tracking, leg predictions should be extremely easy to generate.
Here is footage showing you exactly how accurate this upper body tracking is.
It's freaky just how accurate this thing actually is.
It will enhance VR Chat & sports apps to a whole different level.

They had an entire virtual face to face using the meta quest pro.
It was Very scaringly accurate how real it looked and shows just what the potential of future face tracking will provide.

Almost all VR games will automatically run at higher resolutions by default.
The quest 2 default res is 1440 x 1584 per eye.
Thanks to the Snapdragon gen 2 chip, their is a 30% increase
Meaning default resolution is 1680x1760.
If you still have no clue what I'm talking about right now.
Developers won't have to immediately go into upgrading their games.
By default things will look much better and sharper and that's before developers even get to take advantage of the new hardware
Keep in mind how much better these new pancake lenses are.
Meta says the lenses alone give 25% improved clarity in the centre.
Then a whopping 50% improvement around the edges
Whilst also supplying a larger eyebox.
Soo higher res and less blur = much great visuals compared to the quest 2
