Part 37: The Final Boss Fight of the game: Versus Solidus Snake!

NOTE: This is not a speed run/ Big Boss Rank run. The purpose of this playthrough is to capture the events of the Tanker and Big Shell Incidents. With that said, except for the 3-hour time limit because I wasn't skipping cut scenes, I worked hard (really hard! people have said that this is the most difficult Metal Gear!) and made sure to meet the rest of the Big Boss Rank requirements -- European Extreme Mode, No Radar, No Special Items, No Continues, No Rations used, No Kills, Max 3 Alerts (these are inevitable and part of the plot, therefore No Alerts on the part of the player), and use only 8 Saves or less!!!

I plan to play through all the Metal Gear games (at least the main ones) to really understand the series. It might take some time, but I swear I will complete the series; I am determined to understand that effin' complex story. =)

Metal Gear Solid 2 is the fourth game in the Metal Gear series and is the direct sequel to Metal Gear Solid. First released in 2001, this version is part of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection released in 2011 for the PS3.

Plot Summary from the Metal Gear Wiki:
Tanker Incident -- Two years after the events of Shadow Moses Incident, Solid Snake and Otacon, working as Philanthropy, receive intelligence of a new type of Metal Gear being transported through the Hudson River. As Snake boards the tanker, it's seized by a group of Russian mercenaries led by Revolver Ocelot, intent on stealing the new Metal Gear.
Big Shell Incident -- Another two years later and the Big Shell, the offshore clean up facility constructed in its place is taken over by a terrorist faction calling themselves the Sons of Liberty. New FOXHOUND operative Raiden is sent in to neutralize the threat. However, all is not as it seems.
