Love at first sight with a game is real. It's Metal, and it's half the price of a triple A title.

I literally saw this game 6 days after release, looked at one gameplay video and listened the the music, and I immediately had to try it myself. A decent skill-based room shooter successor to Doom Eternal if we don't get anything more past The Ancient Gods DLC (which is highly likely we won't).

I got pretty excited for this game when I played it, and as you can tell from the number of times I've recommended it to Doom players that it's a decent play. Just take your time and enjoy it slowly, too much of a good thing will burn you out.

I've included gameplay up to Gehenna for spoiler reasons, cause it's no fun when I show everything in the one review like everyone else.
