Note: Canon Gun (As I can loosely call it) is a hidden weapon that's been available since Metal Slug X up to Metal Slug 5 (I haven't tested 6 nor 7). This canon gun technically is the canon bullets from the very Metal Slug. The canon gun can be selected using Cheat Engine by finding the gun value and changing the it to '1'. Metal Slug programmers probably were in the works on a new gun but aborted the idea, though they left the option available or just forgot to remove it. This gun cannot be obtained in the regular arcade version because it involves changing values through a memory editor. The goal of this run was to beat it as fast as possible using a single gun throughout all missions. This particular gun is the strongest, though weirdest, of all 17. This speed run was not a TAS (frame by frame), though checkpoints were used along the way. If I ever do this through a TAS running time could potentially lower well below the 20 minute mark.
