I really wanted to take a look at the Metal Slug franchise as it's one of my favorite arcade series of all time and the history behind the games and their evolution is quite interesting. When it comes to retro gaming you can't skip Metal Slug!
Up next: Metal Slug 3D. This game is really a mixed bag! On the one hand it's not very good...its decent as its BEST and kind of meh at its worst...BUT you can clearly tell the developers were trying! It's got some charm and moments of fun and as far as a Metal Slug retrospective is concerned...has to be included! But it's just a big miss. Same run and gun arcade action...on a worse scale!
Fingers crossed Metal Slug 8 gets announced one day!
