7This boss is annoying with 9999 fire damage he keeps casting halfway into the fight. My approach on Hard difficulty was to just have the protagonist with a fire null or repel equipment. The shoes from the lava cave can be taken to the church to be purified and upgraded to do this. I did a magic build but you can do physical with the almighty attack from the Prince archetype. All you need is the accessory to be immune to the Charm ailment and Sturdy Stance (this halves all damage but makes you unable to dodge, it works wonders in this fight because he gets a lot of turns but you can just tank all the hits, without it you can't survive all the hits). It's slow but it gets the job done if you don't have any other fire null/repel equipment. Remember that when you null or repel the enemy loses all their press turns (dodging means they only lose 2 press turns) so whenever he uses a fire attack you're good. Just have some healing and MP restoring items and you'll be fine. This can definitely be better but if you want to clear this dragon early on do this.
