Metaphor ReFantazio Gameplay Part 1 [4K 60FPS] (No Commentary)
0Welcome to my blind playthrough of Metaphor ReFantazio. This game's demo just came out and I decided I'll play it and share my gameplay here in this channel, continuing my progress once the game is finally out on October 11th.
First Impressions: I like the world-building, the anime cutscenes, and the overall design, although sometimes I feel like the UI has so much noise and could get overwhelming. If you tend to get sensory overload and get overstimulated fast, maybe this game isn't for you.
At the same time, I like the game so far and how it removes a lot of the tedium you usually experience in JRPGs by letting you hack and slash against weaker enemies early on. I'm a bit torn with how the protag got his powers, but hopefully there's good explanation for it later in the story outside of a simple "you're the chosen one" trope.
Usually, I find out if I like an Atlus JRPG 50 hours in, so hopefully this game meets expectations.
