0After our first boss fight, we learn more about how combat works in the game, and we get to expand our party. Things escalate quickly in this game, both in the story and your progression, but there's some moments of respite towards the end, and a couple of expository parts that help ground the narrative and the mechanics more.
However, this does affect the momentum of the game and slow things down a little, but the pacing so far has been okay overall.
