A meteorite crashed on the coast of Rio Grande do Sul at dawn last Friday (12), at 3:20 p.m. The images were taken by Bramon, a national meteor-watching network.
The CFJ2 / RS station in the city of Taquara, in the Paranhana Valley, was the one that best captured the phenomenon and recorded the exact moment of the meteorite falling ... Another five stations also managed to show the light.
The meteorite exploded after entering the atmosphere, apparently without causing damage
A similar phenomenon described as a blue light that crossed the sky was also seen in Portugal for a few seconds yesterday 14/4/2019 in the zone of Proença a Nova by 20:30 from ic8
Meteorito cai no litoral do Rio Grande do Sul Brazil
Um meteorito caiu no litoral do Rio Grande do Sul na madrugada da última sexta-feira (12), às 3h20. As imagens foram feitas pela Bramon, uma rede nacional de observação de meteoros.
A estação CFJ2/RS na cidade de Taquara, no Vale do Paranhana, foi a que melhor captou o fenómeno e registou o exato momento do meteorito a cair... Outras cinco estações também conseguiram mostrar o clarão.
O meteorito explodiu depois de entrar na atmosfera, aparentemente sem causar danos
Um fenómeno parecido descrito como uma luz azul que cruzou o céu foi visto também em Portugal por alguns segundos no dia de ontem 14/4/2019 na zona de Proença a Nova pelas 20:30 a partir do ic8
