Level twenty three of Nightwave - The Emissary brings a new weapon augment for the Vulkar Wraith called Meticulous Aim.
The mod offer one hundred and five percent headshot damage and minus forty five percent bodyshot damage. It's clearly aimed at precision players.
After some testing I came to the conclusion that I would rather recommend Lasting Purity over the new augment as it provides a more flexible and realistic benefit.
I'm not one to rant but this is not what the Vulkar Wraith needed in my opinion. The main use for Sniper Rifles in Wraframe is Eidolon Hunting where the Vulkar Wraith falls short of several other weapons. This was a great opportunity to allow the Vulkar to compete and broaden the scope of Eidolon weapons. A critical chance bonus additive after augment would have done wonders for the weapon and it would have given us another viable option for hunts.
As it stands now, I don't see much point to this augment.
