This game crashes with the DX11 on the 960M and only works with the DX12 at moment, but playing the latter on an "old gpu" is not convenient because it causes too many lag and fps drop. So it is useless to say that the game run bad or that it is poorly optimized if you do not test with the DX11 first. I tried to investigate the problem but I did not find a solution, possibly with patches released resolves the problem but I can not know.
