23URGENT! Metro Redux is FREE! game and can be played in VR, using vorpX and I have an FOV tweak.
I have created a vorpX profile that works beautifully, Plus amazing FOV change to make the game look and feel sooooo sweet! it runs so well and it really is a beautiful looking game! don't miss out, the game is free until February 11 at 11 am...
Find my profile on the vorpX cloud under - metro redux and search for the profile with (Ranimate)
To tweak the FOV of the Epic store version:
Go to : C:\Users\(your name)\AppData\Local\4A Games\Metro Redux\
There, you will find a folder called 2034
Run the game once, then exit the game.
Go back to the folder above, now you will have 2 folders, one is 2034 and another folder, with a looooong name made out of numbers and letters (dont worry, it is all good), go into that new folder, created by the game after you launched it once.
Inside this new folder, you should see another folder named 2034, go into that folder.
Open the file inside - user.cfg (I use notepad to open this file with)
Don't be alarmed by all the text,
Hit CTRL+F and search for the word - fov
once it finds it, change the number to 89 (equivalent to 120 vertical fov)
Search for the word - blur,
It will find r_blur_level 1 Change the 1 to 0.
Search the word - full,
It will find r_fullscreen on Change the on to off.
Click on File and then Save.
Close the file.
Run vorpX
Run Metro again
