Metroid Zero Mission is by far my favorite Metroid game, AM2R, Another Metroid 2 Remake on the other hand is my second favorite. Obviously these are Archived Live-Streams that I ran on Twitch.

I've been running Metroid sessions as a sort of Part 2 in order to cap off my Elder Scrolls streams. So AM2R will be in four parts across a couple days as I break up the VODs and ensure they comply with YouTube's shenanigans.

Where Samus Returns is visually impressive, it misses the point and fails to be a true Metroid 2 Successor, relying on standing free aim, melee counter, and set piece gimmicks that bring the whole experience down. While AM2R has many flaws in design, theme, and presentation, it is second to perhaps only Super Metroid. Speaking of which, we have a Romhack of Super Metroid we'll be playing after this.

Toward the end of our Metroid Grand Tour we'll be coming back around to playing this game on Fusion Mode, after we finish Fusion.
