This is a Live-Stream Archive. Doom Eternal and Animal Crossing New Horizons came out on the same day, resulting in tons of memes about the Doom Slayer and Isabelle. Well, the Doom modding community is in fact the best modding community in all of gaming, fight me nexus kiddos. The result is that right after Doom Eternal came out, we got Isabelle the Companion for Doom. She can shoot demons with her shotgun, slam them with her hammer, do an AoE Damage Attack with a party trick, grapple enemies to her, grapple you away from shots that would have hit you, and MORE. She also has support abilities such as throwing health packs and armor at you. Additionally, she throws jars at enemies that can shatter, revealing items inside for you to get. In short, she's the best.

We are playing Doom 2 using the Hell on Earth Starer Pack Campaign, we complete Chapter 1 of 3 in this stream. The gameplay is being modified by the D4T mod that adds a lot of Doom 2016's mechanics into Doom. Halfway through the campaign I restart to try it in hard mode, fail horribly, go back to normal where I belong, UV in Doom Eternal is just fine, but Hard in D4T ends me. We do complete Chapter 1 after I restart on normal again.

Classic Doom Modding never ceases to impress and I had AS much fun as I had playing Doom Eternal. Weather that's a complement to Doom Eternal, or a stab at modern games for not being way better, you decide.
