251Good lord, do we ever make progress in this one. We get to the east side of Ghavoran and take the elevator over to Elun, the obligatory "tiny" area of the game. There, we get the lovely Plasma Beam which allows us to blast through the blue Emmi zone. Unfortunately we also met up with the X parasites there, and they got into Quiet Robe's body and made him bring back the Emmis, sort of like that guy does in Zero Time Dilemma with his mind hacking or whatever it was.
We suffer the only two deaths of this entire playthrough within about a minute of each other, all because I forget to double back in the room leading to where the next Omega Cannon is. Fun fact, you can actually shinespark the brain in there if you set it up right. I haven't tried that yet, but it's yet another thing I need to start incorporating into my speed runs if I really decide to go through with it!
Oh. We also fight Escue. That guy's a real pain in the butt, but we manage to make out pretty well with the fight.
