Running on the new version of the game with the patched that dropped (10 OCT). After the fact, it seems like the patch adds 2 seconds to the start (which I noted right off the bat) as well as about half a second to each loading zone. Would add up to about 17 seconds overall, oof....



That aside, finally have a run that I'm pretty proud of. That said too, there was a costly death after grapple that ate at all that time I gained in early game.


Teleporting to Varia also left me baffled? In the tunnel after the save room, I morph jump into the above area and tried to get the second morph tunnel trick which.... hard sent me flying down with fast speed? Tried it a few more and you can see that it replicates each time.


Another costly bit was Speed Booster. Failed the morph bomb trick initially and tried to save it but overcompensating for the proceeding bombs. Would have been better to just reset the trick. Can get it consistently and is faster than going through the lower route.


Few things off the top of my head that I would point out about the run; everything else was pretty clean aside from the deaths.


Hoping to get sub 30 next; I just need to clean up a bit.
