Metroid Fusion on the Gameboy Advance was released in 2002 alongside Metroid Prime for the GameCube. The game takes heavily from Super Metroid, which is in my opinion the best Metroid game. Fusion drives its gameplay and story with heavy dialogue, which can slow the pacing down and prevents the natural sequence breaking Metroid is known for. Due to this, the game is not quite as good as Super Metroid, but the story, ambience, music, and everything else are fantastic and definitely a highlight of the GBA and Metroid series, in my opinion. I still enjoy this game more than Zero Mission or any Prime series game.
