My second Let's Play, focusing on one of my favourite games, Metroid Prime. I'm planning to follow through with the rest of the Trilogy if this one goes well, so stick around.

Also trying a different format here - the bosses will be featured as their own separate 'mini-sodes'. I'll be editting a little more here and there to cut out some of the backtracking too.

Metroid Prime was the first game developed by Retro Studios, and was released in 2002 on the Gamecube in North America, with it following in Europe and Japan the following year. It was the first time Metroid had transitioned from 2D to 3D, and it proved a critical and commercial success.

Retro Studies went on to develop two sequels - Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and still continue their profitable partnership with Nintendo today, developing Donkey Kong Country Returns, Mario Kart 7 and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze to date.
