Metroid Prime 04 - Exploring the unknown (Let's Play)
2My second Let's Play, focusing on one of my favourite games, Metroid Prime. I'm planning to follow through with the rest of the Trilogy if this one goes well, so stick around.
We land on the nearby planet of Tallon IV, once a planet of the Chozo, a birdlike race who raised Samus, trained her, and gifted her with the power suit. We set out in search of Meta Ridley, and hopefully reclaim some of our lost power ups along the way. Our first foray takes us into the nearby Chozo Ruins.

Metroid Prime was the first game developed by Retro Studios, and was released in 2002 on the Gamecube in North America, with it following in Europe and Japan the following year. It was the first time Metroid had transitioned from 2D to 3D, and it proved a critical and commercial success.
Retro Studies went on to develop two sequels - Metroid Prime 2: Echoes and Metroid Prime 3: Corruption, and still continue their profitable partnership with Nintendo today, developing Donkey Kong Country Returns, Mario Kart 7 and Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze to date.
