Metroid Prime 2: Echoes (Trilogy Version) Playthrough Part 13: Dark Samus
6Yeah, we have to fight her now. Dark Samus isn't too difficult of a boss. Her attacks include a Phazon shrapnel burst, Phazon missiles, Phazon super missiles, Phazon charge beam, and a dive bomb attack. She can also put up a Phazon barrier that deals damage and blocks away your missiles. The four pillars stationed around the room explode when Dark Samus attacks them, and since they end up destroyed anyway, I always let her do it in the middle of the fight, which is why youll see me screwing around. A pretty short fight, but don't let your tanks go to waste. There may be that save station a few rooms back, but it can be tough if you move straight along. Your reward for this fight is access to the Dark Beam. Dark Samus is so cool, that beating her doesnt give you anything, only access to it. My apologies for the frame issues, I could'nt do anything about it, so please bear with me on it. Hopefully it wont be too bad.
