Metroid Prime 3 Corruption: Part 107 (Vs. Omega Ridley)
0Welcome to Part 107 of my Metroid Prime 3 Corruption Walkthrough. I will be starting the majority of my videos from either the save point, or the starting of each main event.
--Guess who the boss is for this Leviathan? That's right! It's none other than Omega Ridley. He's powered up and ready for action again. He doesn't know when to give up does he? But he's awesome so who cares! :D
Omega Ridley's got some new and old attacks. As always his mouth is his weakpoint for stunning him. His old wound is retained which is his main weakpoint which we need to attack for damage.
He'll cause shockwaves and shoot fireballs from his mouth. He's got a flamethrower that you can jump over. Once you stun him, rip off the chest plate and do some massive damage!
He'll start ramming into you but the big clue before this happens is he spreads his wings.
At around 2/3 of his health gone, he'll create a phazon plating over his chest and also carry energy orbs in his hand that can be destroyed if you shoot them fast enough.
To damage his new armor, use the Xray visor to see 2 weakpoints that need to be destroyed.
Once the armor is destroyed, Ridley will start flying around the arena. You can spot where he is at on the radar.
With his weakpoint exposed, go all out! You can still shoot his mouth to stun him.
When Ridley is down, Samus will become even more corrupted and we'll also get our next suit upgrade, the hyper grapple!
