Metroid Prime Really Is A 3D Metroid Game…
New research entry: I like Metroid Prime now. I think I was a little too young to fully appreciate Metroid Prime at its release back in 2002. I didn’t gel with Prime’s 3D first-person perspective. Years went by and I didn’t pay any mind to the game’s two sequels, and even the Wii’s Prime trilogy collection 7 years later. In this retrospective video, I revisit Metroid Prime for the Nintendo Gamecube (well, technically on the Wii as part of the Prime Trilogy collection).
Upon returning to the game, I grew to really love it. I’m curious to know if something similar has happened to you? Were you cold on Metroid Prime at first and warmed up to it? Or did you just love it from the start? Are there any other games that you gave up on, came back to, and eventually loved? Let me know in the comments down below.
