Oh boy...someone really doesn't like his nap being disturbed!

Boss: Omega Pirate
*Those glowing plates of coursing Phazon are the obvious weak points. Now, Super Missiles would be helpful in cracking them, but that energy siphon device gets in the way. Alternatively, a Power Bomb can help crack some of those plates (but someone forgot he didn't have any here!). Circle around him and shoot those plates from the back, an effective tactic especially for the knee plates. Avoid that Wave-Quake Generator, the massive claws, and the dual plasma cannons.

Once the plates are shattered, Omega Pirate will bend on its knees before roaring "Get her!", disappearing from sight with its cloaking device, and looking for the right Phazon pool to regenerate its health. In the meantime, a pair (and later on, triplets) of Beam Troopers jump down to keep you busy. Wave and Ice Troopers are the biggest hassle (and a waste of Beam Combos at that); instead, deal with them for a bit before turning on your X-Ray Visor and shoot the regenerating Omega Pirate with Super Missiles. Be quick though, because the regeneration is fast. Once he's taken enough damage, the massive Pirate will crash to the floor...crushing Samus underneath him!
