Thanks to the PAL version changes, I easily defeat the Omega Pirate. Placing a Power Bomb at the right spot will get rid of all his armor, and all you need to do is wait for him to appear. Probably will be just as easy on Hyper difficulty. Another PAL change is the not-as-cool-imo Phazon Suit cutscene.

After that, I find the second to last artifact. On the way, there are some more PAL version changes, as Fission Metroids are now around in the Phazon Mines.
