Metropolis - Part 1: The Mayor of Where? - City Management/Building Game - Let's Play Metropolis
70Metropolis is a city management game, where we become Mayor of a city and try to make it a very desirable place to live.
Our city, Pengeopolis (obviously) is a little run down, with lots of tired buildings and areas in need of repair. We control the budget for pretty much everything from hospitals to schools and can also build some buildings.
However, we do find things to be very, VERY expensive and it isn't clear where the money is going to come from.
However, things that we do get round to doing include:
Hosting foreign diplomats!
Providing tech for schools!
Building some houses!
Building a basketball court!
Oh, and we also invest in shares, which I wholly and fully understand. Of course.

Metropolis is a city simulator like no other. In your role as Mayor you need to rebuild and regenerate your city to become one of the best in the world. Financial mismanagement has brought the city to it's knees and the previous administration are facing many accusations of corruption and embezzlement.
As the newly elected Mayor your challenge is to rebuild the city to become the top 'most liveable city' in the world. Your task won't be easy, all essential services have been run down and the major buildings of the city have fallen into disrepair. While breathing life back into the city you'll have to watch your back, political opponents are ready to strike at every opportunity and your fate will be decided by the voters at the next election.
