This was something I just put together to see how much my speedruns have improved over time
Both runs were completed with the Gamecube Dolphin Emulator
The left one was done on Dolphin Version 5.0-17995
The right one was done on Dolphin Version 5.0
Dolphin 5.0 also loads the game faster

Audio on the right side has been muted because it was a run that I did while streaming, the left side audio remains as its only game audio and there's more of that video than the other

The video on the left is the first speedrun I ever submitted on January 14th, 2023 to the speedrun.com leaderboards with an IGT of 1:03:28 and an RTA of 1:05:24

The video on the right is the most recent speedrun I did on June 9th, 2023 with an IGT of 52:35 and an RTA of 54:42

In 5 months time (and a few new skips, one which I helped find at the beginning of the game which cuts off about a minute and a half) has shaved over 10 minutes off my speedrun times
