I've heard rumors about how people would use a Grade 2 fulton device when raiding FOBs because they claim it requires the defender to wait longer. Is that really the case, and regardless, how long is the wait? Me and a Steam friend decided to put it to the test. The results were fairly shocking. Although the wait time to redeploy was no different, what I was measuring was the amount of time when the camera moved out to show me being extracted (on the exact frame) to exactly one second after the redeploy screen was shown. The wait time you see was converted from timecode (Hours:Minutes:Seconds:Frames) to seconds. recorded at 30 FPS.

The verdict? Although you should always fulton the defender when it is safe for you do so (longer redeploy time if their defense deployment function isn't at an S rank, not to mention the espionage points bonus as well as the GMP rewards), it takes a few seconds for them to even get to the redeploy screen when extracted rather than killed, it would seem that the wormhole extraction is quite a bit slower. Over time, it WILL up.
