BACKSTORY: Sam has taken a series of pictures of the world, but now he can't remember the locations where he took them.
OBJECTIVES: You must help Sam label his pictures. To do that, you must download the images from the following link, and seek the location where each was taken. When you think you've found a correct location, make a note of its coordinates. At the conclusion of the challenge (or upon death), compare your answers to the provided solutions. You will receive one point for each correctly-identified location, for a maximum of 20 points.
NOTE: You don't need to be exact. As long as your answer is within 10 blocks (either way, on every axis) of the solution, it counts.
TIPS:
...There are 10 "easy" images with a green border, 5 "hard" images with a red border, and 5 "underground" images with a brown border.
...Also included in the linked folder, is a grid of the approximate location for each image, with X and Z coords rounded to the nearest 100.
...You'll need to figure out which image is at each position on the grid, yourself. It shows the underground images as reddish-pink squares with white dots. All other images are black squares.
...All images are within the bounds of: X=-1000, Z=-1000, X=1000, Z=1000. They were all taken while standing on existing natural terrain (no aerial photography).
...Details in each image may help you determine its location. For instance: "Is the sky visible?" "Are there any trees?" "If so, what type?"
...You probably won't have enough time to reach every location -- especially if playing singleplayer. Prioritize the locations and the order in which you will search. The underground images are all near spawn, but will probably prove much harder to locate.
