Please read the description, this video will make no sense otherwise.

Max Might is a skill that grants affinity when stamina is full, it gives 10% per level when active. The major problem is SnS' primary damage dealer is backhop, which consumes stamina. So the first part of this video tests it with the Anja SnS which has -20% affinity. With Max Might 3 active it gets positive affinity, so it cannot crit unless Max Might is active. As you can see, you can only crit starting on the 3rd hit of backhop.

Now a few things to note. The first hit of backhop occurs as you jump towards the monster, this is often missed simply due to the way backhop works. So really only one of the hits loses out on the effect. The problem I have is SnS has one of the shortest sheathing times in the game and also needs to roll a lot in regular play. Outside of pure backhop into backhop, you're probably going to struggle keeping Max Might up enough to warrant taking it over Agitator or Critical Eye, or even more Attack.

Airborne is a bit easier, my non critical damage without Airborne on the shield bash are 97 and 88. They stay the same even after I equip an Airborne deco. Numbers can be a bit hard to see, but trust me - Airborne only works on attacks that deal mounting damage and the falling shield bash does not count. By the same token LS' Spirit Thrust likely does not benefit from the skill. That said it's not shown here, but it probably increases the damage of the falling slash after backhop. But you almost never use that.

No idea how much of this is common knowledge, but hopefully this helps someone.
