MHXX Switch Demo Import - Menu Guide
Redmond gives some tips on how to navigate MHXX's menus in Japanese! Once you've got the menus down, you should be able to handle this demo (and even the full game) no problem.
For reals, though, if it's not your first MH game, playing MH in Japanese is almost entirely a matching game. Don't know what monster those materials come from? Fight every monster available, then go to your item box and see if any of the materials of the color you're looking at have the same first few kanji in their names. If so, the materials come from that monster. Need to know what skills you have or want? Reference the wiki. These are the hardest parts of playing in Japanese, and there are so many resources available that you can easily access. Sure, it takes some time, but it's not a very high hurdle. If you're willing to put in the work, you'll be rewarded with MH gameplay you can't otherwise get!
