Michael Jackson - If You Were Here Tonight (AI Cover)
17Original song was by Alex O'Neal. Then, it was covered by Bros frontman Matt Goss. Since Matt and MJ has some vocal similarities, I decided to let the AI do its thing and convert Matt's vocals to be more like MJ's, hence the track you hear today.
Figured I tried making this cover using the online AI tools which are already available. This is nothing too complex; a relatively simple translation of the original acapella vocals into MJ's, and then this translated MJ acapella cover is mixed with the instrumental of the song, in an audio editing app.
It's not perfect; there are portions in which the AI struggled to imitate MJ's likeness. Most probably because the original acapella itself had layers of vocals, of which the AI may have definitely struggled to identify and translate to MJ's vocals. No issue; I hope this can be fixed in the future.
