So today it was announced that Microsoft purchased Mojang for an astonishing two and a half BILLION dollars! Crazy stuff! Obviously there are a lot of concerns about what will become of Minecraft - and Mojang as a whole - as a result of this buy out (or sell out, as some may call it) and I just thought I'd share my feelings on the matter and talk about the announcement Mojang released on their site, as well as Minecraft's creator, Notch's personal thoughts on the buy out, Minecraft as a gaming phenomenon, his role at Mojang, and his plans for the future. Whoosh, that's a lot of stuff!
