Microsoft changes Xbox One's Used Games policy and DRM policy

Microsoft has been under constant scrutiny after revealing that the new Xbox One will be have mandatory DRM restrictions and that used games will require a fee if traded. Adding salt to injury Microsoft CEO Don Mattrick responded to this criticism when he responded in interview "fortunately we have a product for people who aren't able to stay connected, it's called Xbox 360". Also with an Amazon poll asking which console would you buy "PlayStation 4 vs. Xbox One" it was a huge margin with 39000 votes for the PlayStation 4 and 2100 for the Xbox One. With Microsoft facing a huge defeat to Sony they made a great move. Just in the last couple hours Microsoft has wised up and removed these inhibitors in their new Xbox One gaming console. There will be no fee associated with buying and selling used games. As well as you can let friends burrow Xbox One games without a fee. They also removed the 24 hour DRM restriction on the Xbox One. This will allow people who don't have internet all the time be able to play the Xbox One. Also if you travel you don't have to worry about having internet. Despite this huge announcement I'm not up in arms willing to go and buy the Xbox One. With a mandatory Kinect needed for the system to work and slightly less powerful then the PlayStation 4 as well as being 100 bucks more expensive. I'm glad Microsoft did this because we need competition and without it Sony might feel less inclined to push when they make the PlayStation 5 eventually. Also it could lead to the PS4 not decreasing in prices like its predecessors. But Microsoft's initial poor reaction to the Xbox One criticism has left me conflicted whether they're sincere. It will be awhile before they're able to repair the customers trust.
