6You may wonder why i made a video of gameplay on a 40 year old flight simulator game, well thats because this game doesnt work properly with emulators so you either need an old ass dos machine or just find the patches, which is what i did, special thanks to eXo and Smiling Spectre for helping me fix this (well i didnt fix anything i just followed their steps lmfao). Almost every video on YouTube doesnt have any patched versions of Flight Simulator so everything is broken (and they somehow get off the ground lol)
The reason why this game doesnt emulate properly in DOSBOX is because all the polygons (or vector lines dos in 82 couldnt do much lol) are warped and makes taking lift off impossible, its even impossible for the demo lmfao.

The cause is i dont know probably the 8088 emulation or how cycles work in DOSBOX idk, but you need a patched ROM (?) and the Enhanced Community Edition of DOSBOX (which you should get with eXoDOS) and like you try to run it with eXoDOS's alternative Flight Simulator 1.0 launcher and then boom works fine, colours may be off though but i think thats an aspect ratio issue.
