Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 Gameplay Part 43 Flight Planning + MCDU + SimBrief Basics

Free Flying using Airbus A320neo (v2)

Steps in detail:

1 , Naigate to EFB and validate this are hooked up.
2. Toggle JETWAY
3. Toggle Catering.
4. Toggle Luggage.
4. Next payload tab and sekect Sim Brief to load flights the weights that SimBrief for fuel.
5. Select Apply Load.
6. Preparing Aircraft. Select Fast up to 5 minutes.
7. It will take 1 min and 30 seconds to finish.

Flight Computer (MCDU)

1. Load flight plan into the aircraft.
2. Select Performance.
3. Performance speeds to view V1, V2 and V3 to calculate speeds.
4. Go back to EFB.
5. Select Takeoff Tab.
6. Press button Sync on top next to Conditions.
7. Select Payload tab.
8. View Live Gross Weight. Copy the number in KG.
9. Select Takeoff tab end enter the number in KG on WEIGHT.
10. Select CALCULATE button.
11. Calculate it's going to enter the performance information and show you a little diagram of where on the runway.
12. Back to MCDU and enter number from EFB. Example: V1=145 , V2=145 and V3=147.
13. Select CLR Button to clear warning in MCDU.
14. Enter the FLAPS configuration that will be needed for take off. Enter 1 like the gearshift.
15. Select INT button.
16. initialize and press init request to load flight plan from SIM brief.
17. Validate departure and arrival airports.
18. Compare SimBrief disbatch under view tab.
19. Look at the Block fuel weight from the flight plan and enter in MCDU. Example: 5.4.
20. Use arrow buttons left, right, top and bottom to navigate.
21. Select F-PLN button.
22. Look for Departure CYYZ .
23. Check Sim brief to find your route.
24. View your departure arrival. View what's called a sid a standardized instrument departure as the first departure,. Example: GOPUP4.
15. Select Transition TRANS which is middle of the route. Example: HOCKE
16. Select Insert.
17. Scroll down to Arrival. Example KORD.
18. Select the approach when landing. Example: ILS27C.
19. Select star. Example WYNDE2.
20. Look for Transition. Example: FNT.
21. Select Insert.
