Fun game that honors the license despite some flaws similar to and inspired by tmnt shredder's revenge. Several modes too, like bikes and zords as well as unlockable arcade games. Note that easy mode is actually challenging.
Flaws include:
1) Grapple is inconsistent.
2) Taunt button is the same as special, so you don't want to activate it by accident.
3) You cannot change power rangers/difficulty after finishing levels (rangers only after quitting).
4) Title opening is unintuitively skipped by pressing and holding x as well as other booting stiff.
5) The help chat gets kinda stale, which is the only combat voice acting.
6) Bonus modes are lacking (unlocked speedrun and tutorial)
7) PS versions have 4 players offline with only 2 online.
8) Where be the physical release/collector' edition if TMNT can do it over and over again?
I did like this overall, similar to care bears to the rescue's limitations. Maybe this might get a physical release too. The physics are fun as well as the putty habits similar to foot soldiers, like one doing graffiti.
I did like hearing the characters in my ps5 microphone (you also get the ps4 version though the preorder made it separate).
I am glad they got the explosions right as shredder's revenge made them separate, which is immersion breaking. This also has more dialogue which is good but only combat has voice acting.
