Infrastructure at foundation used to be set of dedicated servers for specific purposes like build server, 4 different webservers etc. This is causing uneven utilization of the hardware. To avoid this Eclipse Foundation deployed Red Hat Openshift to run eclipse foundation services. This impacted project level build infrastructure. This talk details the approach taken by platform team to use newer Openshift based build infrastructure.
