Mikey is my disabled brother. Mario is... apparently unaware of the danger he's in, given we're about to get a new puppy... 😅 I'm not 100% clear on the story, but apparently Mikey won(?) Mario at Luna Park, except they originally tried to give him a monkey since that's what he liked before, but this time, nope! Mikey insisted on Mario and none of us can figure out why. We did play SNES and try to get him involved with Super Mario Battle Mode when we were kids, but the pixels back then really don't look enough like this Mario for that to be the reason, so yeah we have no idea what went on in Mikey's head! Even now, he gets a bit shy around Mario... but he likes watching TV with him!
