Hello, in todays video we do a tutorial video on MILS Plating. (Modular Integrated Landscaping System) This is a method that is useful to make interlocking plates that you can place modular buildings on as well as create scenes for your Lego town or city. Usually people do not start off MILS plating their town but I am doing it from the beginning to future proof my city. I do not even have a functioning city yet, and I already have expansion plans. Thus the reason I am doing this now and not later. I do mention my city name will be "Why Not"! Mid video, I show you the parts I have chosen to use for my plating. I then proceed to lay down those bricks in the order I have decided to be the most effective. I am using a 32 x 32 stud plate. Because I am using 4 x 4 stud plates I do use a lot of 2 x 2 brick to support those studs. After I lay down the lot of 2 x 2 bricks, I speed through and lay down the 4 x 4 plates.
