I've updated my 1000 Block Build Race Mini-Game, and thought that I'd show off the new features and show how the game works.

1000 Block Build Race is a Minecraft mini-game that has two players or two teams of players compete to see who can re-create a structure with the provided materials. Both teams have a 10x10x10 build area, and are give a chest of materials when one of 64 structures are randomly picked and shown. The teams must then build the structures faster than the other team, using the provided materials, which they sometimes must craft or smelt or dye or otherwise convert into the needed blocks. Players can approach the example build, and they will be put into spectator mode to prevent them from modifying it and to allow them to easily look around it. The first team to complete the structure wins, and gets a point, and the amount of time taken is shown. You can then challenge the other team again, or switch up who is playing and reset the scores.

This new update of the game has a wiring fix that prevented a few of the structures from being selected, and add the game timer and prevents players in spectator mode around the structure form going into the ground.

I show off how the game is played, and then I show off the redstone and command blocks behind the game. The game is easily modifiable, so you can replace the builds in the game easily with your own builds. You can just replace the structure with your own, and then put the building materials in the chest next to the structure. The came automatically clones the structure to the play area when it is picked, and clones the chest twice, once for each team to build with!
