Welcome to Athentus Realms!

Sort of. The "Reboot" I suppose.

A soft reboot considering the changes I've made, however all the old work and content is still valid, and nothing has actually been removed.
This will be the official continuation of Athentus Realms, and the old Minecraft 1.8.8 map has been archived and will be in the pinned comment for download.

I decided to mess around with a few programs, and was able to port Athentus Realms from Java 1.8.8 to Minecraft's Bedrock Edition!

I've been pretty behind on the updates for a long time, since directly after the Combat Update, and this way I can learn all of the new Mechanics and Items around the World by Default, and the world will continuously stay up to date and stay compatible with all platforms and updates from now on.

I figured Bedrock Edition would be a good start, this way I'll have a Bedrock version series alongside that one, and considering it is to be the official Minecraft supported by Mojang and Microsoft, it has a host of other features, such as having Cross Play support to have friends from all platforms join in on this series, VR Support so if I so desired I could jump into VR and play Athentus Realms like that, and I can keep the world on 24/7 for the other
participants through Realms!

I figure with this series, for mundane tasks such as going out Monster Hunting, farming extensively for a while, dull mining such as trenches, clearing away an entire area, flattening entire areas, and things like that, I may make extra episodes where I'll stream the mundane tasks and chat with anyone who happens to be viewing at the time, so I figure it'll be great!

The Athentus Realms world is identical in every way, almost every block (including an unseen Spawn Town that was the area for random creations and ideas in creative mode until now from when it was a hub back when it was open to the public for a brief period).

Due to the way porting worlds works, and the fact that newer versions of Minecraft let alone Bedrock generate their maps differently, everywhere we actually explored as far as chunks go have been ported perfectly and since we discovered a very small amount of the world, all of the areas outside of spawn (and specifically the Athentus Base) will all be considered new land to the world generator, and will generate all the new and old structures that have been added since 1.8.8, all those things you'd expect from a new world, meaning it will allow the use of the seed, and future major updates will all generate.

The world generation did have a few flaws, Ender Chests are all empty, and due to the game generating where Strongholds are placed based on the Seed, the one we found nearby has been moved to a new location, and the chunk replaced, which is completely fair and good since we found it off camera, and it'll hopefully be a nice challenge to get to the End to slay the Ender
Dragon.

Things such as player heads and such have been reset to default, and we no longer had our inventories except for what was in containers such as chests and furnaces, the ender chest wipe being due to it being personalized to the player along with inventory, due to technicalities of being a different game engine, and being a differnt player
through the Microsoft Account which makes alot of sense, so before generating I placed my inventory in an empty chest, and then grabbed all my belongings after the world was complete.
Maps on the wall are reset and glitched out, and enchantments were wiped from all tools and armor, which although is a shame, this will be a fresh start for new enchantments.
(Even though the names on the items are a tad bit glitched as well.)

Finally, we will now be forced to rough it completely from now on, which I'm glad about, so as to keep Achievements active, so we will be staying in Survival, abandoning the areas where creative mode was used occasionally to create things at Spawn, which I'll explore in survival mode during a VR video.

One more thing, I know I meant to resume the series a while back and got two episodes of Season 2 up, but due to lack of appearances from our cohost Ryan, other games being released, and quality not being up to snuff yet, I didn't get around to continuing the series until now.

Without further ado, lets begin Athentus Realms: Bedrock Edition!
