Using command blocks i have created the battle royale game in vanilla minecraft. This involves copy and pasting a box of redstone magic into your world and running a filter and then when you join the game you will be able to play battle royale with your friends! (upto 16 players)

When in game type these commands into chat
Note: If command blocks can input these values it will be done automatically by the box.
/scoreboard teams add nopvp nopvp
/scoreboard teams option nopvp friendlyfire false
/scoreboard objectives add PN dummy
/scoreboard objectives add Damage dummy
/scoreboard objectives add Deaths dummy
/gamerule commandBlockOutput false

If you are playing on a server disable spawn protection and enable PvP, Mobs & Animals.
