This is another design of the Comparator Update Detector (CUD), Tile Entity Update Detector (TEUD) or Data Update Detector (DUD). When I made the video I had no idea, so I was calling it an inventory update detector.

And one more thing: The chest destruction trick doesn't work in version 1.5.2. The detector of course does. I found this while I was playing in 1.5 and recorded it there too.
