Ever used the /fill and replace command but had problems with the slabs and stairs? Here's the solution. It's easy to do, I'll show you how here.

If the commands at the bottom are too small to see I've provided them here:
SLABS:-
(co-ordinates) (new) (top or bottom) (original) (top or bottom)
/fill --- --- BLOCK [ type= ] REPLACE (BLOCK) [type= ]

STAIRS:-
(co-ordinates) (new) (NSEW) (top or bottom) (original) (NSEW) (top or bottom)
/fill --- --- BLOCK [facing= ,half= ] REPLACE (BLOCK) [facing= ,half=]
