Update :
I found a new way of placing the dispenser , if you can dig more than 2 block deep , you can actually place the dispenser under the netherrack , but remember to make the dispenser face up , so it shoot the bottom of the netherrack (the fire is still burning on top of the netherrack) . But the redstone torch section which toggle the dispenser will be slightly different , that would depends on how you solve that issue .

Update 2 :
You can make the fireplace in 3x1 size instead of 2x1 size I have in video too ! This is where placing dispenser under the netherrack became useful , because you need a new place to shut down the fireplace .

This is a "how-to" video on my automatic fireplace , this is also my first "how-to" video after my first Minecraft video being uploaded few hours ago .

The stuff you need to create this is ,
- Redstone (for the circuit)
- Redstone Torch (to making the dispenser shoot)
- Dispenser (to shoot the fire charge)
- Fire Charge (LOTS of them , and to make fire)
- Lever (to turn on or off the fireplace)
- Redstone Repeater (I use it to power one of the sticky piston)
- Netherrack (to have fire stays forever)
- Stone Brick (the surrounding of the fireplace)
- Iron Bars (on the top of the fireplace , to avoid rain put out the fireplace ?)
- Sticky Piston (to push the stone brick that cover up the fireplace)

... anything I missed ?
