This episode covers how to easily find your Minecraft folder. You need access to this folder if you want to access your various world save files, or your screen shot files.

The method described in this video works on ALL versions of Windows and also works with Ubuntu 10.10 Linux. So it should work with pretty much any Linux that uses the Gnome desktop. I suspect it will work with KDE based desktops also. In my testing it didn't work on an OS X machine.
